
Raed Aldulaimi holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Wayne State University and works as an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Al-Imam Al-Adham University College, Iraq. He is an expert in Middle Eastern geopolitics, migration, and post-conflict reintegration. His research focuses on the intersection of peacebuilding, preventing violent extremism (PVE), and the vital role that local social and religious institutions play in rebuilding trust and stability in post-conflict societies.
Aldulaimi has collaborated on major international policy initiatives, such as the UNIDIR, UNDP, and LSE. He also serves as the Country Expert for Iraq for the Varieties of Democracy (V-Dem) project.
His scholarly work on political behavior, civil society, and sectarian dynamics has appeared in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Ethnopolitics, the Journal of Contemporary Iraq & the Arab World, and the Voluntary Sector Review.
