The August 2023 issue of the International Journal of Middle East Studies features a roundtable on academic freedom penned by MESA Global Academy scholars. On December 14, 2023, the Global Academy held an online discussion with four of the authors: Dr. Evren Altinkas of University of Guelph, Dr. Utku Balaban of Xavier University, Dr. Nihat Celik of San Diego State University, and Dr. Basileus Zeno of York University. Dr. Miriam Lowi of The College of New Jersey served as discussant.
