On April 4, 2022, the MENA Studies Program and the Keyman Modern Turkish Studies Program at Northwestern University hosted Dr. Dilan Okcuoglu of American University and Dr. Umut Yildirim of UCLA for a virtual panel on "State Control in Turkey: Resistant Encounters in War and Peace." Drs. Okcuoglu and Yildirim were in conversation with Dr. Wendy Pearlman of Northwestern's Department of Political Science.
