On March 4, 2023 the University of Chicago's Center for Middle Eastern Studies presented Dr. Ahmad Abdrabou of the University of Denver, Dr. Hossein Hafezian of Montclair State University, and Dr. Mustafa Saqib of Rutgers University-Camden for this hybrid panel. The event was hosted by Dr. Norma Clare Moruzzi, Associate Professor of Political Science, Gender and Women's Studies at the University of Illinois Chicago.
