On October 17, 2023, the Hunter College (CUNY) Department of Arabic Studies hosted Dr. Mohammed Almahfali of Malmo University, Sweden for an online talk entitled “Censorship and its Implications on Modern Arabic Literature.” Professor Terri Ginsberg of the department moderated the event.
