On March 30, 2022, Georgetown University’s Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies and the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies hosted an online talk with Dr. Hamid Alawadhi of Point Park University, who provided a snapshot of the state of Translation Studies in the Arabic language. Dr. Elliott Colla of Georgetown's Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies served as moderator.
