Ahmed Mohammed Ghaleb

Ahmed Mohammed Ghaleb is an assistant Professor of Comparative Literature within the Department of English at Ibb University. His scholarly journey bridges Eastern and Western literary traditions, having earned an AM from the English and Foreign Languages University (formerly Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages - CIEFL) and a Ph.D. from the renowned University of Hyderabad, India. Dr. Ghaleb is a remarkable scholar whose work in comparative literature stands out for both its depth and originality. His doctoral dissertation -focused on English and Arabic drama – offered fresh insights by weaving together diverse cultural and linguistic traditions. Since completing his Ph.D., Dr. Ghaleb has written several; research papers and presented at leading academic conferences. His research is not only theoretically sophisticated but, also attuned to boarder social and cultural conversations, making it relevant and impactful within and beyond academia.
