Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ghaleb is an assistant professor of Comparative Literature within the Department of English at Ibb University in Yemen. His academic career explores the intersections of Eastern and Western literary traditions.
His scholarly foundation began with an MA (Master of Arts) from the English and Foreign Languages University, formerly known as the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL). He subsequently earned his Ph.D. from the esteemed University of Hyderabad in India. His doctoral dissertation focused on English and Arabic drama, interweaving diverse cultural and linguistic traditions. Since completing his Ph.D., he has authored several research papers and presented his findings at leading academic conferences. His research is theoretically informed and also closely attuned to broader social and cultural conversations, rendering it relevant both within academia and the wider public sphere. Dr. Ghaleb's primary academic interests encompass Arabic and English drama, literary theory, feminist and translation studies, and cultural critique.
